Ian. A – Chicago USA – Travelled in December 2024 – Cape Town, Savanna Lodge, Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls Malachite Suites

Our flight home from Washington DC to Chicago was delayed.  That was the only snafu in an otherwise flawless trip.  Your arrangements were perfection. The hotels and resorts were superlative. We loved every minute of it. Everything was amazing. I will not hesitate to recommend you and I’m sure we will be talking again about our next trip to Africa.  I feel like we’re just getting started.

Sarah C – UK – Travelled in August 2024 – Machaton Camp, Timbavati and Idube Game Reserve, Sabi Sands

Machaton was fabulous – the private camp was a real treat. Accommodation was amazing… clean, spacious & top quality. Catering was absolutely amazing, great food and catered for our whole party (young & old)! The game viewing & ranger at this camp was also top quality & we saw the big 5 (&more!)… we were very lucky! The whole family loved the privacy, facilities & freedom!

Idube was also amazing.  More organised than Machaton, so a very different feel. The accommodations were fantastic & the team really catered for the family. The camp was fenceless, so it was wonderful to have nature wondering through the facilities, the children were delighted by this! Food was great with plenty of options & a more formal evening meal. Once again we were incredibly lucky to see the big 5 a second time … the rangers at Idube were very knowledgeable & also great with the children. Our animal encounters were just second to none in idube! They also made a very special fuss for mums 80th birthday 😊

Transfers between airports & reserves were also great!

Many thanks for recommending & booking our safari … we had the trip of a lifetime. We hope to come back in the future.

David and Geri G – USA – Travelled in July – South Africa, Victoria Falls and Okavnago Delta

Thank you for giving us a trip of a lifetime- it was so special and worth going around the world for. You made everything so easy for me and were there when we needed you, I appreciate everything you did. What memories. Thank you!!

Sandhya K – Australian – Travelled in July – Idube, Sabi Sands Reserve

We had the most amazing time, all the arrangements were great and Idube was fantastic as well. Our game drives were fabulous, we were able to see all the animals in the two days and we will be very happy to recommend Idube and Pride to everyone we know!

Ryan and Ariana F – USA – travelled in July 2024 – Cape Grace, Delaire and Dulini

The trip was amazing and we loved every bit of South Africa. All of our guides and tours were fantastic and the accommodations were amazing. We cannot thank you enough for the help in planning everything. We loved Dulini Lodge. Overall the hospitality was remarkable and we certainly left with full stomachs. As I mentioned before, James was an incredible host for us in Cape Town/Stellenbosch as well. We cannot wait to come back again soon.

John and Naomi M, USA – travelled in July 2024 – Cape Grace, Savanna, Palm River and Khwai Lediba . Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta

We appreciate all of your help with this trip, your efforts have been key to its success. You truly are an expert at your craft!

Yvonne and Di – Australia – Travelled June 2024 – Cape Town, Vic Falls and Botswana

Di and I had the most fabulous holiday so much more than we expected. Loved everywhere we visited, all the accommodations and meals were great, and of course, the main event of wildlife was absolutely amazing.
We got up close and personal to many of the cat family and have taken between us 1,000s of photos. I also have hours of videos which I’ll have to do something with at some stage! So many memories of the best holiday.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everywhere we stayed and all the guides we had couldn’t have been nicer. Always courteous and smiling we were both impressed. Once again Sherreen a big thank you from Di and I for putting together this fantastic holiday. Now we have to get used to the hum drum of life at home.

RUSSELL P, Arizona USA – EAST AFRICA, July 2023

Now that we’re settled somewhat after our family adventure, Helen and I would like to thank you for helping us organize such an extraordinary trip. We both feel that this trip was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. Virtually everything went flawlessly and the shared experiences will be long treasured.

It’s hard to imagine how things could have gone any better. All the accommodations were superb, our transportation arrangements went like clockwork, the people were fabulous wherever we went and even the wild animals cooperated!

We also want to thank you for helping us celebrate our 40th anniversary. Helen and I were feted at almost every destination including the Mt. Kenya Safari Club, Singita Explore and Singita Kwitonda. Both Singitas organized lovely events with entertainers from the local community and Singita Kwitonda gave us some impressive custom walking sticks that are works of art.

John and Linda O’C – USA –– Cape Town, Sabi Sands and Victoria Falls – August 2023

Thank you Sherreen.  It was amazing.  I just wrote a review on trip advisor.   We are also planning to support the orphanage associated with the Savana Lodge.  That place in particular was exceptional.  I would do the same trip all over again.

Natalie A – Canada – Cape Town, Sabi Sands, Victoria falls – August 2023

Good morning Sherreen. Our wonderful adventure has come to an end. The experience was phenomenal. Thank you for all your planning and attention to detail. Capetown was incredible, Table Bay was the perfect location, and Dulini was like the being part of the lifestyles of the rich and famous.   Vic Falls was beautiful and the Elephant Cafe was perfect.

BART F, Arizona, USA – J– East Africa – Hemingways Nairobi/Singita Mara River/Singita Sasaskwe/Singita Volcanoes National Park – July 2023

Everyone felt it was the trip of a lifetime.  Me included.  I had been all these places before but It was really special to have my whole family with me. They all loved it. The two most special things we did were to go to the private tour at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Gorillas.  Singita was their usual great group.  Every request was filled.  Thoughtful nice kind people.  It is a great organization and the seem to do an excellent job.

At all transit points people met us and treated us very well.  We felt well cared for.

Simon and Lynne – UK – Umlani Bushcamp –  May 2023

We just wanted to say thanks for helping us organise the trip. We’re just leaving and had a fantastic time and everything ran very smoothly. Umlani was really brilliant and we’d really recommend it for anyone that wants that sort of experience.

The game was excellent and the rangers really enthusiastic and interesting. We saw a pride of lions twice on every single drive and got incredibly close on almost every occasion. We also saw a group of rhinos, porcupines, lots of elephants, hippos and lots of haenas along with everything else you’d expect. We also saw a pack of wild dogs. The lions were next to camp this morning and woke us which was quite an experience!

The treehouse there is great and you can sleep overnight but due to demand it’s best to book this in advance. We spent a morning in there.  Food was also delicious and staff are very friendly. It has a lovely family feel.

Gary B. Canada. Rwanda, Serengeti and Kenya – October 2022

The trip was fantastic and all the lodges were excellent. Ngorongora Crater Lodge is getting a bit tired and the crater is busy which takes away from the experience but still very interesting to visit. Singita lodges are so wonderful and Cotters was also excellent. The day we had in Nairobi we did the elephant orphanage and the glass blowing studio as well as Karen Blixen Museum..
Overall a great trip!

Rebecca. D, UK – Victoria Falls and Chobe – September 2022

I just wanted to say an absolutely huge thank you for organising such an incredible trip for us last month to Chobe and Victoria Falls. Returning to reality has been a little tough to say the least as it was just one amazing holiday that we will no doubt talk about for years to come. The accommodations and transfers were seamless and it really surpassed our expectations in every way.

Dan and Wei L. USA – SA Safari, Benguerra Island, Okavango Delta – September 2022

Simply put, the trip you organized was for us the trip of a lifetime. Aside from seeing great friends, the game safaris were something that we could not have imagined. To drive so close to such impressive (and wild) animals was breathtaking—and to see them in many different behaviors (leopards mating, baby elephants wrestling, wild dogs chasing game, lionesses with a cub, leopards eating a kill in a tree, etc. etc. etc.). The guides at both Sabi Sands and Gomoti Plains were amazing in their ability to track and find animals. We thought it would be impossible to top the experience at Sabi Sands where we saw an abundance of wildlife, but the Okavango Delta may have done that owing to its expansiveness and the ability to see large herds of multiple species all in the same large space at once.
We also enjoyed Benguerra Island, which was a different kind of experience—relaxing on the beach with friends and outings in the boat to see whales (and catch a tuna or two).

Throughout we greatly appreciated your organization of all the many transfers, which went off without a hitch.

Jill W. Australia – Tanzania and Kenya – August 2022

We had the most wonderful holiday in Tanzania, definitely worth the wait. The lodges and hospitality in general was outstanding and of course game a plenty. We managed to see a “crossing” which was very exciting.

Yvette S. USA – Botswana – July 2022

Thank you for putting together such a magical trip for us! I am madly in love with Botswana and already want to return. Your airplane rescue (due to earlier international flight) was a marvel and we are so appreciative of your efforst. Words truly cant express my gratitude for the most wonderful experience.

Kylie H. Australia – SA Game Lodges – March 2022

I cannot express how much that I thoroughly I enjoyed my trip to South Africa .All of your arrangements , transfers and logistics went seamlessly and the accommodation was beyond words and expectation.
As you know , I had stayed at Savanna twice before and this experience again was flawless – to be honest I was so tempted to book another visit whilst I was there 😉The staff, game viewing, hospitality, food ,accommodation and overall experience was perfect as always !!! I certainly would return there in a heartbeat, and as many friends have seen my photos, you maybe getting some business from those who wish to experience the magic of Savanna .
Tintswalo and Kambuku were also exceptional and definitely somewhere I would also recommend highly .
Thank you again for all your assistance in putting this trip together for us.

Henry S. Canada – SA Game Lodges – March 2022

Just landed in Vancouver…. Both were excellent Sherreen. The overall experience at Leopard Hills is superior without a doubt, mainly due to the quality of staff around the lodge and and the exceptional rooms and food. Arathusa has a great setting with the dam right in front of the main lounging area, and you feel like you are amongst the animals, which is amazing. Wildlife was excellent at both…the North just has a higher concentration of predators so we saw lots there, and we got our fix of big buffalo and elephant herds at Leopard Hills in the West (with some cats as well). I would recommend both lodges in a heartbeat, and of course your help makes it all easy to coordinate, which was not a straightforward task!

Brian H, USA – South African Itinerary – March 2022

Everything on the trip went like clockwork. The overall Capetown visit was great . The Lawhill apartments were perfect ….very high end and so convenient. It was about a 6 -7 minute walk to the VA Waterfront. We enjoyed 3 new restaurants, the best of which were Meloncino and City Grill ….both were excellent. We loved Inyati. The accommodations were very nice and the viewing experience was off the charts .. Had the best guide i have ever had on 8 trips ( keith ) . In the first two drives we saw the big five plus more . Probably saw 4-5 leopards n cubs in the first two days . It was absolutely amazing the viewing at Inyati .
Thanks again for helping me and making everything work.
I hope to come back again in 2024

Karina C. Canada – Tintswalo Safari Lodge, February 2022

Our stay at Tintswalo was one word, incredible! The rooms were gorgeous, watching the elephants at lunch from the deck was so much fun and the game drives were fabulous! We saw almost every animal that we wanted to see during our time we are happy we stayed for three days as we wouldn’t have seen them all otherwise. The management and staff made us feel at home right away and I really appreciated their attention to detail and all the little surprises they had for us. It was a very exclusive experience with only one other couple staying at the lodge at the same time. They had a beautiful set up for us on Valentine’s Day which was so romantic and lovely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone we really did have the best time there.
I really can’t thank you enough as well for recommending this place we are so glad this is the one we went for!

Randy and Angie L – Texas, USA.   Kambaku River Sands, City Lodge, Waterfront, La Cotte in Franschoek – December 2018

The safari was beyond our expectations.  We had 8 game drives, and we had seen excellent sightings of the big 5 within the first two drives, and many other animals as well.  Our guide said we were quite lucky with some of the unusual or rare sightings and/or situations.  The lodge was great, and the food was excellent.  I am pleased we selected this category rather than some of the more luxurious options.

Franschhoek was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the food and wines.  Christmas lunch was excellent.  If we were to change anything, we would probably have chosen to stay in Franschhoek another day.  We did drive back up to Franschhoek one day from Cape Town.  The La Cotte cottages were very nice (once we found them).  We stayed in the Orchard cottages, which are in a different location compared to the main house and the Forest Cottages, and unfortunately the guard at the main location did not recognize our reservation.  It was not a big problem, and we really loved the cottages themselves, and their beautiful gardens.  One day we opted for a private tasting tour, just so we didn’t have to drive or select wineries since we had not done any research.

City Lodge in Cape Town was what you would expect from a less expensive hotel, but was certainly clean and convenient.  The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful when I need to print and scan some paperwork.  The breakfasts were very good, and the restaurant was fine for any other meals when we were too tired to get out.  We did a full day private tour that took in the Boulders Beach penguins, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain.  We also went to the aquarium and the botanical gardens, and wandered around the waterfront area shops.

We truly enjoyed all the experiences, but the safari was really hard to beat!  Angie has had a lot of requests on social media for our itinerary (she posted a lot of photographs), and we will be sure to pass along your contact details.

Thank you again for all your help and excellent recommendations.

Debbie M, Buckinghamshire, UK –  Idube, City Lodge, Waterfront, La Petite Dauphine; Premier Classe train – December 2018

Happy New Year! We are back safe and sound after a wonderful , amazing Christmas.  We feel like we have seen so much yet I know we have only scratched the surface. It was a super first ’toe in the water’ and we all want to return. Who knows – maybe this  Christmas  in the southern hemisphere again!

Thanks again for all the planning and sorting and reshuffling. You did a great job and your  choices were perfect for us first timers.  The staff at all the locations were wonderful and helpful. We now know where we want to go back to and what we missed. I think booking through someone with local knowledge is far the best way, so thank you for your advice.

We would be very happy to do a review on trip advisor and I promise to do that in the coming days.

Debbie

Leeanne A,  Alberta, Canada –  Bateleur Safari Camp, Timbavati – December 2018

We had a most wonderful trip, Shereen!  It was very memorable!  My husband and I were so proud of how well our children travelled all that way.  Despite the 48 hrs that it takes each way to South Africa for us, they said they would love to go back:)

But Ill tell you Shereen, Bateleur Safari Lodge was just amazing!  The staff catered to us so well.  They made things easy for us.  They were so kind.  My husband and I don’t love big crowds, and so I think one of our favorite things about Bateleur is that they only take 16 people.  It was so private.  Just us and breathtaking nature.  Our guide and tracker were the best.  The most kind and knowledgeable people.  The accommodations were just like the pictures on the website.  We were not let down at all!  I would so quickly choose to go back to Bateleur if we ever did another safari.

We spent the rest of our time in Swaziland after that.  It was beautiful in a lot of other ways:)

Robert G – Alberta, Canada,   Amani Camp , Klaserie Reserve – January 2019

Our stay at the Amani camp was so fantastic! From our arrival with the staff welcoming us, we knew this was the right place for us. The staff, lead by Sandra, JB (chef) and Emily (guide) made us feel totally at home. It is truly a five star facility but with a down to earth open feel which really resonated with us.

I would also like to mention the extra support that the management team of Dawie Jansen and Talitha Jansen brought to our stay.  When our chef JB was stung by a scorpion on the first night, Dawie stepped up to fill in the void for which he was excellent. And a special thanks to Talitha with the last minute coordinating the two transfer to meet up with our original transfer in White River.   Both drivers were very professional and fully understood the importance of the timing of their drives and were friendly and welcoming.

Leuschner Family – Hans Sigi Meli & Micha – Idube, Sabi Sand Reserve – October 2018

Hi Leigh

We had a wonderful time in Idube. We felt comfortable all around. The game drives were impressive, the staff extremely friendly and the rangers and trackers competent. The food was always freshly prepared and of very good quality. Prices for drinks very acceptable (not excessive) and sundowners on the evening game drives with magnificent sunset views were very special. Our Ranger Bragon and our Tracker Culture were a well-rehearsed team and we had a lot of fun together. The Bushwalk is a must- indescribable. Our rooms and bathroom were in excellent condition and always prepared for the night. A wonderfully big bed! We will be back!

Karolin H L –  Germany – Nkorho, Sabi Sands – October 2018

Thank you for your email. Our stay at Nkorho was absolutely great and it‘s been such a great experience. The lodge is very very nice, all the staff being super friendly and the views and game drives were super exciting!

So all in all a perfect experience and I thank you a lot for your support!!

Jonathan and Erin S – Ohio, USA, Kambaku River Sands, Timabavati – October 2018

Thank you for your email. Jonathan and I had a FANTASTIC stay at the Kambaku Lodge. It exceeded all expectations.

The staff was fantastic, so friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The room itself was a perfect size, with a nice big bathroom and tub and shower. Everything was very clean and orderly and they made sure we had everything we needed at all times.

The food was amazing, always fresh and healthy with very generous helpings along with a fantastic variety.

Our tracker and guide were a knowlegable and entertaining team who educated us each and every day we went out. Jonathan and I both learned so much and felt like they really took the time to answer all of our questions and educate us on everything there was to see and hear!

Thank you again Leigh for assisting Jonathan and I in the best Safari experience ever! We truly appreciate all of your help and guidance along the way!

Leah H – Masachussetes USA – Kambaku Lodge – October 2018

We absolutely LOVED our experience there!!! The staff were amazing. The food and accommodations were so quaint and beautiful. Each game drive was perfect, we saw all the big 5 and even wild dogs. The team there was amazing and we seriously have nothing but positive things to say about it. We wish we had stayed for longer actually. Thank you SO MUCH for the recommendation Leigh

Ingo M – from Hong Kong ––  Kambaku River Sands, Timbavati and Clarendon Fresnay, Cape Town – October 2018

We returned to HK last Sunday after a lovely time in South Africa. Everything was perfect and worked like clockwork.  Accommodation was great, people nice, food was excellent. Even the weather was alright.
Thanks again for your highly professional organization of this trip. I will surely revert to you on a next occasion and recommend Pride Lodge’s services for SA visits to everybody I know.

Vivien J – Western Australia,  May/June 2018 – Lion Sands, Savanna, Kenya (Bushtops and Sirikoi)

One of the most important feedbacks that I have not given is on “Sherreen”.  Putting aside that you have become a lovely friend, I have to say that you have to be the best agent I have ever dealt with.  Your attention to detail is excellent, not only when making bookings, after the bookings but also whilst we are actually on the holiday.  The way you have taken note of our likes, dislikes and made sure they are met is a credit to you.  Even after our holiday is done and dusted you think about what would appeal to us whilst speaking to other people.  Whilst I was giving you feedback on the camps for your records to help other guest to make their choice, you then follow up on the negative feedback rather than just making note of it.  To help someone obtain a better rate when making a booking themselves again is your kind nature to help.  That is what a wonderful caring person you are.  I feel so comfortable in not hesitating to ask you to make alterations or silly requests knowing that your happy to accommodate them.  And for your records we had feedback from one of the camps and now I cannot remember which one, saying that you rang them to remind them it was my birthday.  They also said that not many, if any, would do that.  You are a dream to deal with Sherreen and I thank you for all you have done for us.

Susie C – Australia – June 2018 – Savanna, Tanda Tula

We have arrived home ( reluctantly) and I just wanted to tell you what an amazing trip we enjoyed. We loved all the game parks particularly Savannah and Tanda Tula. Botswana was a different experience , more laid back  and  the water experience was great.. We saw so many animals ( we felt very lucky ) and all the organisation was exceptional. I thank you so much Sherreen for your choices of venues . The people were  so friendly and so accommodating.

Boris P – Slovakia, December 2017 – Kambaku and Cape Town

Leigh, I would like to express my deep respect and big THANK you for all what you  have been done in preparation our vacation in South Africa. What a joy and happiness I experienced with my family ! And YOU contribute a lot in it.  Everything was so smooth and well organized. All services were simply just perfect. Girls have been impressed by locations and also people we met in your lovely country. It is evident that you must have passion in your work and it is not just an ordinary “job” for you  . It was my real pleasure to have an opportunity to enjoy your professional as well as human/individial approach 😉 Wish you all the best

Boris & family

Kenneth L, USA November 2017 – Kirkmans

We had an absolute wonderful time at Kirkman’s.  We were teamed up with Gareth as our ranger and Friday as our server for meals.  While I’m sure all the other rangers and servers were excellent, we really felt like we lucked out with the folks assigned to us.  The game drives were extraordinary and we left feeling like we saw everything.  We even managed to see a pangolin, which we were unaware was a huge deal!  Thank you for your thoughts on Kirkman’s as it really did factor in my decision to choose that lodge.   I certainly will be referring both you and Kirkman’s to our friends that want to visit South Africa and hopefully for our own future needs as well.  Thank you again for everything.  You made everything quite an easy and stress free planning process with wonderful results.

James B – UK – November 2017 – Tintswalo Lodge

It was absolutely fabulous! As we arrived we got whisked to see 17 lions passing by the dining porch…an incredible sight. The lodge set up is perfect. There’s only around 20 guests at any time so the service is very personal. We had our own vehicle, guide and tracker the whole time, as well as our own butler. Thank you for sorting that as it really added to our experience. The Grant Suite was dreamy and we just sat watching animals all day from the sitting area (picture attached!). Food was sublime, service top notch and the game viewing couldn’t have been better. On the second day we came across a leopard in the stalking position and then saw a warthog kill. A little unnerving but such an incredible sight…we were very lucky!

Thank you again for organising. The three days were out of this world, and my parents are still on cloud 9.

Benji and Emily P – Chicago USA –  September 2017 – Clarendon, Bantry Bay, Camp Jabulani, Londolozi, Royal Chundu and Seba Camp (Okavango Delta)

It was so nice meeting you in person as well.  Emily and I loved Zambia and Botswana.  While in Zambia, we chartered a helicopter and the views were incredible.  We flew around the Falls and through the Gorge which was breath-taking.  We also did the Devil’s Pool and we have never been so “on edge” (pun intended) than during that moment.  What an unforgettable experience! Separately, the Okavengo Delta had such a cool terrain.  We saw so much wildlife, including two full-grown male lions, a massive buffalo herd, honey badgers, hyenas, a leopard, among others.

We cannot wait to get back to Africa and, once we are in a position to do so, you will be among the first to know 😉

Thank you again for organizing the greatest trip of our lives.  Please stay in touch and if you ever make it to Chicago, let us know.  We would love to get together.

Jas S – UK – May 2017 – Motswari Geigers Camp

We all had a fabulous time, thanks. I really did not know what to expect but it certainly surpassed by expectations. Everything went smoothly in terms of transfers and flights. The Motswari staff were all exceptional, incredible service, delicious food and most importantly the game drives were the highlight of the whole trip, experienced and passionate knowledgeable guide/tracker makes all the difference and every drive (we had 5 in total) was unique and we saw something new each time. I can not recommend Motswari Geiger camp highly enough. Thanks again for arranging everything and taking the stress out of the trip, l am sure we will be back again and use your services again.

Ken and Judi H – Canada – April 2017 – Cape Grace; Londolozi; Royal Chundu; Vumbura Plains

Sherreen

Thanks… I was actually just going to send you an update. Our entire trip was really amazing and we owe you a great amount of thanks. Every segment of the adventure was exceptional. We did the helicopter ride from Royal Chundu  to the Falls and the Gorges and it was spectacular!! Thoroughly exhilarating!!! Vumbura was also wonderful and as you promised very different from Londolozi. It was also first rate but the service level was likely somewhat below Londolozi. Excellent nonetheless. Londolozi was definitely the highlight of the trip and our guide , Callum ,was exceptional and certainly made a huge difference!!

All the connections went smoothly and we really experienced no difficulties for the entire trip… really remarkable!! Great planning by you… it could not have been easy!!

So thank you again… we will definitely recommend you to any friends who are considering a similar trip!!

Also was great fun to meet you in person!!!

Gemma R – UK – April 2017 – The Clarendon; La Petite Dauphine; Tanda Tula, Chitwa; Elephant Camp

In short – we had a most wonderful trip full of amazing memories that I dont think we will ever forget. In fact it was more like four trips in one as each relocation introduced us to a different, wonderful place.

You have enabled us to build such wonderful, rich memories. Thank you so much. I will not hesitate to recommend you to any friends who I hear may be planning a similar trip.

Padraig M – Ireland – April 2017 – Imbali and Kambaku River Sands

I just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the holiday. It was a superbly planned, timed & executed! We had 2 fabulous lodges with lovely staff & our transfers were great.

Thank you very much for everything & for changing the flights at late notice to Capetown.

Karen E – Saudi Arabia – March 2017 – Motswari and Khaya Ndlovu

Thanks for asking, we had the best time!  Three out of four of us declared this to be our best trip ever.  The ten year old says it comes in second to diving in Maldives, can’t argue with that!!😀  We had such great game drives with Motswari and we were all blown away when we walked up to Khaya Ndlovu the first time.  It is such a beautiful and peaceful place.  Wish we could have stayed longer but most assuredly we will go back again.

Thank you and hope to work with you in the future for our next trip to South Africa!

Melissa P – Canada – March 2017 – Baobab Ridge, Klaserie

We are now back in Canada and recovering from jet lag, haha. We had the most wonderful time in Africa and so look forward to returning again next year. Our stay at Baobab seems ages ago now but we created memories that we will never forget. We honestly cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our time there. Thank you thank you thank you for sending us to them! Jason wanted me to thank you as well and encouraged us to book with you for our teams in future years. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful, the food was DELICIOUS and the game drives were incredible. Jess was our driver and she was remarkably knowledgeable and had impressive tracking skills. Our only disappointment was that we were unable to find a leopard but understand that is just sometimes what happens. We would highly recommend to anyone Baobab Ridge. We loved our stay and would be thrilled if we could book with them again next year! Thank you so much Shereen! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Naji Z – Lebanon – March 2017 – Motswari, Timbavati
Everything went great! Motswari was an excellent choice. The lodge is very nice and the staff was very helpful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tracker did a great job. We go some great close-up views of all kinds of animals. I would like to thank you very much Kelly for all your help and for the excellent choice!

Rafael S – Peru, December 2016 – Leopard Hils and Sabi Sabi

Everything was great. Leopards Hills was amazing and the rooms and service were fantastic. We thought nothing could compare with Leopard Hills but fortunately the experience in Sabi Sabi was wonderful. The food, the service and the warmth of the staff made us feel as in a trip with old friends. Our experience has been fantastic and we have had very beautiful times. Also the transportation from and to airport and between the lodges was very efficient.

Congratulations Kelly for your professionalism and thank you so much for your support!!

Mary B – Canada, December 2016 – Kambaku

Leigh, our stay was absolutely fantastic at Kambaku.  It was exactly what we had hoped for and we’re so fortunate you were able to find us a spot there at such relatively short notice. While it was at the higher end of our budget, we certainly loved it.  I was disappointed not to have been able to have done any additional activities such as bush-walks, but otherwise was completely satisfied with the experience.

Daniel H – Brooklyn, New York – December 2016 – Kambaku and Motswari (Timbavati Reserve)

Just touched down in Joburg. Holy cow Leigh the trip was so so so fantastic. Thank you so much. Couldn’t thank you enough. Both lodges were spectacular – wonderful people, lovely rooms, terrific food. And the game drives, Jessica, and Mahalolo were breathtaking. We saw the big five, numerous hyenas, warthogs, kudus, giraffes. Saw tons of baby elephants from 1 Meter away, 2 young male lions from 2 meters away, 2 meters away from a full rhino family, saw a herd of 500 water buffalo, saw a lion and hyenas. eating a buffalo.  And we even saw a white lion! One of only two left in Kruger. Everyone on my drives was terrific. Still processing everything. Ahhhhh. Thank you so much!!

Aubrey M – Johannesburg, South Africa. October 2016. Tintswalo (Manyeleti Reserve)

I would not even know how to start thanking you on assisting us in arranging this last minute trip to Tintswalo. All the arrangements went very smooth, from the airline to the actual hotel itself. Your professionalism, and great sense of urgency made everything seem seamless! My family had a really good time they saw all the big five

I am looking forward to many more arrangements in the future. Thank you Sherreen

Clemens K – Germany.October 2016. Baobab Ridge (Klaserie Reserve)

Our stay in South Africa was beautiful! We had a great Holiday! Baobab Lodge was exciting, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for your support Leigh

Kelly M – Canada. October 2016. Motswari (Timbavati Reserve)

I think our favourite overall game lodge experience. The staff were amazing. Friendly, attentive, and over the top in taking care of Adele’s food requirements. The food was fantastic, the room exceptional and the game drives so much fun. Good guides and drivers and we really enjoyed the other guests we were paired with on the drives. I could have stayed 3 weeks. There is nothing I would have changed. In a second I would return. If I had to recommend one lodge experience for someone who had only 1 stop for a lodge this would be it.

As mentioned previously I intend to return to Africa soon as I truly enjoyed the experience and in large part it was because of your guidance and help in selecting lodges and routes etc. For this I will be forever grateful. Thank you Leigh

Fiona W – USA. September 2016. Baobab Ridge (Klaserie Reserve)

We loved Baobab Ridge and out of all the lodges we’ve stayed at would definitely go back.  The management was excellent, the accommodation outstanding and the food was very good too.

Thanks so much for organizing that for us, at first I thought 4 nights would be way too much, but in the end we didn’t want to leave! Hope you have decent rains soon, so sad to see the bush so dry and the animals so unhappy

Brian B – USA. September 2016. Southern Africa

Sherreen, I want to thank you for the great choices you offered with regard to our trip. We are now in Capetown finishing up and we were overwhelmed by the safari outings at both Elephant camp and Mala Mala. Mala Mala was incredible.

Thanks for helping and if I hear of anyone headed to South Africa be sure I will put them in touch with you.

Val M  – USA. September 2016. Klaserie Sands River Camp (Klaserie Reserve)

Our experience with Brian at Klasserie Sands River Camp was superb. Brian is all anyone could want as a guide, amazing me with basically unbelievable tracking feats. He is also a helluva driver. As a host he was charming and attentive and he provided an African safari experience to my brother and his family that was everything that I hoped for. It will be unforgettable for them.

The camp and the staff were first rate in all respects. The food was excellent. The stay was one of the best experiences that I’ve had and you should have no reservation in recommending the place to customers. Thank you Kelly

Mark G – Ireland.September 2016. South Africa

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. All the hotels and lodges – Cape Grace, Delaire Graff, Camp Jubilani and Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge – were outstanding.

In Cape Town Cape Grace were so helpful with any request or advice to explore that city. And it was a beautifully unique hotel in a great location for us. Delaire Graff was gorgeous – our only complaint is we only had one night there – I would definitely stay longer another time to appreciate the facilities

Camp Jubilani was our first safari experience. We got to interact with the elephants and ride them through the bush and have sun downers. Fiona really loved that. Our guide Andre was fantastic. It was also a smaller and cozier property so felt almost exclusive. We also got to go to the endangered species site. There we got to interact with a cheetah which was amazing.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge felt like an even more authentic safari experience. Our guide Patrick was great and he ensured we saw the big 5 close up – and it was very close up. We also got to know a couple from South Africa who were on every safari with us there and they taught us more about the country. The evening meals under the stars were also amazing.

So overall this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Sherreen, you really made the difference by organizing everything so seamlessly – I have been directing my friends your way as they have been following my Facebook posts.

Natalie M – UK. July 2016. Turbine in Knysna, Inyati lodge  (Sabi Sand Reserve)and Clarendon Fresnaye, Cape

We did look to see if you had a Tripadvisor site so we could leave feedback but could find one if it exists. We had a really fantastic time, it was everything we wanted. Hotels were all very good or excellent and the transfers worked out perfectly. The wine tour was just as we wanted and the car rental you recommended were excellent. It’s a great country and we may well return next year. If we do we will certainly be in touch.

Many thanks for all your fantastic support Leigh, you were a great service that added loads to our trip.

Renaud P – Bordeaux, France. July 2016. Ngala Safari Lodge (Timbavati Reserve)

We left South Africa 2 days ago. The whole family would like to thank you for the great experience at Ngala. Simply unbeatable and unique! No doubt each of us will remember the 3 nights spent there. Leigh, you were right to encourage me in booking at Ngala. We will certainly go again with your company.  All the best for you,

Garth B – Bahamas. July 2016.  Kambaku River (Timbavati Reserve)and Inyati (Sabi Sand Reserve)

We had a great trip. Both lodges were excellent. The food very good. The rooms were very nice indeed. the game drives were fantastic. The guides very good. The kids had a super time. The transfers went smoothly and so did the flights. Thank you and Pride Lodges for everything you did. We could not have had a better time.

Andrew M – South Africa. July 2016. Lukimbi, (Kruger National Park)

Hi Sherreen – outstanding in all respects! Only have great things to say about the lodge and the staff – hugely enjoyed by all.

Laurie. F – USA. June 2016. Okavango Delta, Botswana

Our trip was wonderful!  We thought that the combination of lodges was perfect in terms of giving us different perspective and experiences.   I think that our favorite lodge overall was Jao.  We really enjoyed the water experiences there; the day we spent on Hunda Island via 45 minute boat ride was the highlight for us. Our guide, Salani was wonderful.  All of the helicoptering was fantastic, both at Jao and then again at Vumbura, and we loved the balloon ride as well.  So it turned out that yours and David’s advice was sound in that we did not feel like any of the air experiences were redundant. Also, it was great when Andrew joined us at Vumbura, the accommodations for the 3 of us there were my favorite of the 3 places in terms of space and aesthetics.  Not sure if that’s a fair comparison, as of course Alexa and I were sharing one room at the other 2 lodges. Thank you again Sherreen for all of your hard work putting this trip together for us.

Ralph and Rose H – UK. June 2016. Kambaku River Sands(Timbavati Reserve)

Good morning! Finally back in the UK and now back to work. Rose and I had the most amazing time at the Kambaku Lodge and everything we experienced was beyond our expectations – well beyond. The lodge, the people, the service and care we received was amazing and the safaris were just incredible. We were very fortunate in what we got to see and even saw a lot of the white lions – a real privilege. I am now boring people with the hundreds of pictures that I took and can honestly say we would look to do this again in the future – we found it very “life changing” in some senses to be so close to such amazing creatures in such a great environment.

Thank you so much Sherreen for booking this for us – the whole process was covered so well from getting there and back – a fabulous experience which was faultless. A tremendous experience and everyone we met were completely first class – there is no way we could have asked for more!

Florence M  – France. June 2016. Klaserie Sands River Camp (Klaserie Reserve)

Sorry for my late answer I saw your e-mail long after our arrival and then we were “busy.  We had everything needed and we would like to thank you Kelly for your great help.
We were so lucky to find Klaserie Sands River Camp! Lee-Ahn, Brian and all the staff were really kind with us, and the place is astonishing!
We had a wonderful stay, it was hard to leave 🙂

Ameilia. S – France. July 2016 – Senalala Lodge (Klaserie Reserve)

I had every intention in writing you. First, I must say that Senalala lived up to its luxury name, with a family feel. Myself and Rudy described our stay as a retreat. Whereas those who have stayed in other lodges described staying in the game reserve as tiring, etc I found my stay to be so relaxing yet filled with excitement and adventurous moments.  I would 100% recommend this lodge to any couple or family alike, the accommodation was simple yet extremely satisfying. The room was clean and inviting the bed so comfortable, the best part was opening our curtains to elephants drinking water, breath taking. Please pass this on to my new Senalala family. Thank you so much Kelly for the recommendation  and assisting with the booking.
